Above is a photo of a surgical procedure to help an unborn child 21 weeks old. Unborn children this old can be legally murdered in most states. The child is reaching out of the incision in his mother's womb and is holding the surgeon's finger. Samuel Armas, was born 15 weeks later on 12-2-1999. How can pro-abortion people say that an unborn child is not a person?
 
It is no secret that there are more than a million abortions every year in the United States alone. The question for many is simply this---Is an embryo or fetus just tissue in a mother's womb or is it a human child?
 
This article is short and to the point. This writer will not get into a lengthy debate or argue about women's rights according to the laws of this great nation for women to legally have their unborn children's brains sucked out. What will be clearly shown is what God has to say about a human embryo or fetus. Is it merely tissue that the mother has a right to dispose of, or is it a human child?
 
If you do not believe the Bible is God's message to man, then the most important thing you can do is repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you of your sins and ask Jesus Christ to save your soul from an eternal lake of fire. You need to be saved from your sins and be born again.
 
God says that He knew the prophet Jeremiah "before I formed thee in the belly" and "before thou [Jeremiah] camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5).
 
Solomon, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, wrote about the child (not merely tissue) in a mother's womb (Ecclesiastes 11:5).
 
God says that He is the One who forms us in our mother's womb (Isaiah 44:2, 24).
 
The psalmist David wrote that he was wonderfully made by God in his mother's womb (Psalm 139:13-15).
 
According to the Bible, when Mary, the pregnant mother of Jesus, went to visit Elisabeth, who was pregnant with John the Baptizer, the unborn John "leaped in her womb" when Elisabeth heard Mary greet her. Elisabeth said to Mary, "As soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe [not tissue] leaped in my womb for joy" (Luke 1:36-44).
 
When Mary was pregnant with Jesus, Luke referred to Mary as being "great with child" (Luke 2:5). The unborn baby Jesus was a child in His mother's womb.
 
If a woman has an abortion she is killing a child. In light of what God has to say in the Bible, does a woman have the right to kill her unborn child just because a liberal Supreme Court says she does? There is another "Supreme Court" with a Supreme Judge that she will have to answer to on the Last Day, which is the Day of Judgment. In the meantime, a woman who murders her unborn baby can be forgiven and that sin, along with many other sins that will not be held against her on that awesome day if she will just repent, that is, turn from everything that she knows is sinful, ask God to forgive her, ask Jesus Christ to save her, and really mean it with all her heart. Nothing short of that will do.
